The Hard Reality Check

A Connecticut raised girl with Southern beginnings and passion for life!  I’ve always been a risk taker, a bit outspoken and not afraid to question my own preconceived notions.  The shocker for me was that these personality traits would transform my life and propel me into a personal and professional life I am proud of.  And all the glory belongs to God!

Long story short, after the 2016 election I begin to question the BLM narrative that was causing the riots and utter chaos in America.  I had never bothered to question the prevailing narrative before.  I only knew and believed that blacks voted Democrat and Republicans were for the rich and were racist.  Period.

Where I’m from you can question the Bible more often than you question the Democrat Party.  But me being me, I begin to have a lot of questions.  I discovered Economist Dr. Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams and Milton Friedman and I was blown away.  I had never heard these brilliant thinkers, never challenged my mind in that way.  So naturally, I was like game on!  Let me dig a bit deeper.

A few months into, what for me was life changing,  God spoke to my heart and told me that my skin color had become an idol in my life.  This.  Blew.  Me.  Away!

Other than the revelation of who Christ is and what he came to do and how I desperately needed His salvation, this revelation completely changed my life.  It not only allowed me to pull down this enormous idol in my life but I properly placed the only one worthy of worship back in His proper place.  This was not only a spiritual awakening that brought me closer to God,  but also a hard reality check.  And I have never looked at faith, family and politics the same.

Failure

I was so happy about what God was showing me and all I was learning I just had to share it with my close family and friends!  Well that news didn’t go over so well.  No longer viewing everything through skin color, I developed a deep fire to help others (black Americans in particular) see their way out.   I didn’t get the open mindedness or consideration of these new ideas I thought I would’ve gotten.  I was sad and hurt by some of my closest friends and family.  Not because they didn’t agree with me, but because they wouldn’t even fully hear the ideas out.  I felt like I had failed.

Renewed Strength

I began volunteering and seeking out like minded individuals.  I was blessed to find some amazing friends, prayer partners, and even relatives that were very involved in politics.  God gave me the strength and courage to keep going.  I was offered a job with the Republican National Committee and ran the Black Voices for Trump office in Jacksonville, FL. We were able to flip black Democrats to Republican 5-15% across the city!  I’ve met  wonderful people who have really helped me on this journey.

After the 2020 Presidential election, I realized if Republicans were going to have a real shot at winning we would need to get serious about grassroots organizing.  Using the formula I created, I’m helping other organizations grow their grassroots outreach efforts to take back America!  I’ve used my methods with organizations like Moms for Liberty, Moms For America, AFPI and FreedomWorks!

When Critical Race Theory was being uncovered, Governor DeSantis held a hearing in Jacksonville, Fl to have the practice banned from schools.  I wrote and said my speech before the Florida Board of Education that catapulted me to national notoriety.  Governor Ron DeSantis retweeted my speech and my life has never been the same!
